Qualitative properties of solutions to differential equations with delays

Abstract. This lecture is devoted to the analysis of the behaviour of solutions to selected classes of differential equations with delays. We shall focus in particular on their representation in exponential form and the conditions for the existence of unbounded and strictly monotonic solutions. We shall present auxiliary results describing specific properties of the solutions and a criterion for their exponential representation. At the same time, sufficient conditions for the existence of increasing and unbounded solutions, including estimates of these solutions, will be derived. Finally, we shall generalise the results, first to linear and subsequently to non-linear systems of differential equations with delays.
